In this overmatted quarter plate image, Edward’s hair has been tinted red. It’s not the brightest red I’ve seen in a dag, but I think his bride was slightly smiling because she knew what a sight he’d be in their image. The resealed dag comes in a worn case with a repaired spine. Other than the tarnish and a few little spots, it’s in very good condition.
