A TALL HAT. It might not be a ten gallon, but it?s pretty big for the streets of Boston or Providence, where this ninth plate dag was made. The mat is stamped ?G.W. Rider.? He certainly was trying to look the dandy, don?t you think? The dag is resealed, although not by us. The image has some edge tarnish and a light spot on the left side of his hat. The dag comes in a case with a broken spine.
