BUT look at those bows! They are noticeable, though I must admit they are quite tame in size and pattern as others seen in dags. Sometimes men wear then that are triple or more the size of this ladies. She does maybe get an honorable mention for number of bows. There is a bit of flatness to this sixth plate, which makes me think it to be a copy image. That just means she was popular enough to have a need to share this portrait with someone, but who…? Held in half an early plastic case, the imprint is simply, Patent applied for. I wish it was a full case. It has lost its cover and hinges as this was made before they were riveted into place.
