My oh my, wasn?t he handsome when he posed for this resealed sixth plate in front of a camera that was operated by a skilled artisan! Although the placement of the large book directly in front of the subject was unusual, the way his hands rested on top made the composition look perfectly natural. Fantastic coloring to the gent?s flesh tones provided more reality than usual. The reflected depth and richness of the silver was marvelous. The patina formed over time compliments the superbly crafted likeness. The flawless piece in kept in the bottom of a leather case. The subject?s golden pinky ring acted as a beacon to draw our gaze towards him!
