You may not be able to make out his blue eyes in the scan, but I swear, the tint is there! It makes him even more creepy, in my opinion. I’m not sure if the unknown person who resealed this image made the slight swipes on the plate at top center and lower right. There are a few other marks here and there. The sixth plate image is an intriguing one though. His wrinkled hands hold perhaps a prized book? He comes in a case with a split spine.
