THE MAN OF MANY FRECKLES. This young gent?s sixth plate dag is one of those where the focus is fine enough so that you can count the freckles on his face. The image has seen better days; there are some mat marks and scratches at the bottom and a few lighter and wispier ones at the top left and right. It remains a nice example though of an image with a paper mat. Casey repaired with the spine with one of his newer techniques (see photo).
