WHY SO STRANGE? Possibly the unusual composition that cropped the fellow across his knees when the scalloped brass mat was placed on his restored sixth plate might have caused some visual distress. Or might it have been his attire. That long jacket that hung loosely on his frame, attached across his chest by one large button was quite odd. And the teen’s tight grip on that wooden cane that didn’t have a perfectly straight shaft was curious to say the least. A friend and I have speculated that the boy was physically afflicted with an unknown illness, which would explain his pose, that quite honestly was discomforting when I opened his lovely thermoplastic case with a splendid green pad inside opposite the dag. The condition of this plate is superlative with only slight mat marks on the right side! I might add that his trousers were certainly very snazzy!
