A SOLID SUBJECT. I can safely say that his scarred face indicats this man’s familiarity with action. He sat for his resealed sixth plate in the Daguerreian Gallery of the Meade Bros. located at 233 Broadway in New York City. That information along with an impressive eagle and leafy vines were all impressed in the plush red velvet pad opposite the dynamic gent. He was taken at a lower than normal camera angle, thus adding importance and prominence to his visage. I really wonder who he was in life. The tonality is awesome. I’m not certain what caused those white specks on one eyebrow. Tarnish and mat scrapes, barely noticeable, hug the inside of the double elliptical brass mat.
