YOUNG MOTHER & BABY.

As we often see, the little one squirmed a bit but mom stayed perfectly still. So still you can count her many freckles. This sixth plate dag is one I’ve had for a while now but haven’t taken the time to scan. I like that the lighting is mostly on the subjects and just barely on the mysterious mountain backdrop behind them. Someone resealed the image with the old glass a while back. It’s safe for now, but there is some dust under there and glass imperfections. The case spine needs a repair.
